What is a podcast?
A podcast is simply a radio program that you can listen to on your computer or iPod/MP3 player whenever you like. Each time a new episode comes out for a podcast you are subscribed to, the program is automatically downloaded to your computer.
.
Why would I want to subscribe to a podcast?
- Podcasting allows you to listen to your favourite radio programs whenever you wish, not just while the show is on-air.
If you are usually busy during the Friday 10am broadcast of The Green Majority, you can listen in at a more convenient time for you.
- You can listen to programs on stations with a broadcast signal that does not reach you.
Whether you live in Toronto, Victoria, Washington or Bangladesh, you can still tune into The Green Majority podcast!
- The signal is always just right, so you never need to worry about reception quality.
.
