I have only two more examinations to grade (and report cards to write) before my official retirement from teaching. Getting pretty excited about the time I will have to work on a number of projects here at besustainable that have been neglected. Between trying to purchase my first house (while my wife and I live in separate cities non the less) and living out of boxes in my temporary home I haven’t really been able to produce any podcasts. That said I am finding time to get some research for future shows completed and I have started to contact a lineup of guests for interviews once the “studio” is reassembled. In the mean time I am grateful that Ben from the thewatt.com has given me the opportunity to get some recording time in as a guest on theWatt podcast. Ben has been working on setting up regular panel discussions and I like the format of the show. I also like the fact that he brings together a number of knowledgable guests from the energy, climate change and sustainability realm each week. Be sure to check out the Watt website, consider voting for the show at podcast alley (which hopefully will increase the awareness that there is some great enviro programming available in podcast format) and be sure to leave some feedback and thoughts about the discussion.
Here is a link to the most recent show: theWatt Podcast episode 61 which includes some discussion on
Global warming tipping point, China’s pollution problem, Toyota Prius sales and Alan Greenspan comments.
with
Ryan Wiseman, Calvin Jones and Dave Sag and of course our gracious host Ben Kenney
****the two previous posts below might make a little more sense if you listen to the show. I put them up as reference to a part of the discussion around hybrid/prius sales worldwide.
