I was very excited when I heard that the World Changing Book release tour was coming to Toronto. I have only been back to the city once since making the escape a few months back so I have enjoyed the morning getting caught up with the hustle and bustle. Although I can’t say I really miss the busy, go go go nature of the place that much.
While in town I am going to accumulate as much audio as possible for the Sounds Sustainable podcast, so keep an eye out for a more shows now that life has settled down a little after the move. On the topic of podcasts I had an opportunity to get caught up on some listening on the way to TO this morning. For anyone thinking about making a move to off-grid living (or maybe your just renewable energy curious) then I highly recommend checking out theWatt.com podcast, episode 63, Part - an interview with William Kemp (Here’s the link…to the podcast page) If you are not familiar with theWatt then follow the link for sure. Ben serves up informed energy news and discussion and posts some great interviews with sustainablity/energy/efficiency experts (on an unrelated note, bonus points if you can find me in the show archives, think of it as an audio where’s Waldo with an enviro concious twist).
That’s all for now, off to record some interviews (I should give a quick shout out to Moog audio for the excellent service this morning while looking for some new recording gear and wireless Toronto and The Roastery Coffee house for the WIFI so I can post this update)
